Gena is an Earth Roamer with a passion and love for people and the human connection. A New York native, she  moved to Colorado in 1998 and never looked back. A Scorpio Sun with Moon and Rising in Capricorn, Gena embodies what she teaches.

On her life’s journey, Gena has started a health coaching business, was an event coordinator for some of Denver’s biggest fitness events and a kid’s yoga instructor- all deeply fulfilling roles which nurtured her passion for people.  In her everyday work, Gena is a talented recruiter, diving deep to help people find work that suits their skills and personality.

My Journey to Astrology: 

I’ve always followed the phases of the moon and found the themes and underlying tones to be very synonymous with what was showing up in my life. 

Eventually, I started talking to friends about what was happening with the moon phases 

Then I started posting about them a little bit on social media, and found myself getting very happily absorbed into this world. 

I began performing ritualistic New Moon and Full Moon practices for manifesting: intentional journaling,  what I like to call “wild writing,” and doing a tarot card pull. 

As I deepened my personal practice, I found that I was seeking out more answers and a deeper understanding of the complexities and intricacies of Astrology.   

I started reading more and more about astrology: exploring the planets, signs and houses. 

I looked at my own birth chart and dove deeply into what my sun, moon and rising were, and how they could help me understand my personality, purpose, passions, strengths and weaknesses- I was fascinated! 

In perfect timing, a friend recommended the Debra Silverman School of Astrology to me, and the seed was planted. 

I checked it out and naturally tried to talk myself out of it, saying that I just didn’t have time or finances or that I was too busy at work or a million other excuses not to take the jump, but astrology kept showing up and becoming more and more prevalent in my life. 

I was invited by a dear friend to go to a 2020 Forecast gathering being held by a local astrologer at a yoga studio and I was mind blown by what I heard. 

It was that night, and the continued “nudging” of some very dear friends that solidified my decision. I was going to take the jump and really learn this. 

I signed up and  began my first online session in February 2020.  I was traveling at that time in Costa Rica at a music festival called Envision (Highly Recommend!). I  distinctly remember being on the 2nd level of this beautiful tree house, looking out at the lush tropical land, and feeling so right and so present. I knew I had made the right decision. 

I graduated in July and have been giving birth chart readings since!   I am enjoying every moment of this evolution, and all I am learning along the way!

In the Fall of 2020, I  co-hosted a women’s retreat with 2 dear friends in Frisco, CO, offering birth chart readings to guests to deepen their self understanding and pivot them towards forward progress.  

It was the first of hopefully more to come!
